BTECs are vocationally related qualifications, where you will develop knowledge and understanding by applying your learning and skills in a work-related context. Additionally, they are popular and effective because they engage you to take responsibility for your own learning and to develop skills that are essential for the modern-day workplace. These skills include: team working; working from a prescribed brief; working to deadlines; presenting information effectively; and accurately completing administrative tasks and processes.
This BTEC Level 2 course will motivate you, and open doors to progression into further study at Level 3 and responsibility within the workplace.
During this one year course you will complete 4 units:
Unit 1 Introduction to Specialist Pathways in Art and Design
Unit 3 Communicating Ideas in 2D
Unit 6 Investigating Contextual References in Art and Design
